[ Currently: Finishing physics. ]

Seven minutes before I go to English from study hall. Just finished Physics homework, and helped a student who has come to our school add the teacher's printer to her laptop.

Stapeling my physics homework together I remembered how scared I was comming to a new school...even though I knew most of the people in my grade from my stint here in lowerschool...I can't immagine their thoughts these days. We have 10...or 12 new students from New orleans who were displaced, which makes of 1/20 of the school population(small school). Going to school with them really makes me reailze what they must be going through. Its one thing to go to school and not know anyone, but to go home and only know your family...I can't imagine it.

One girl from New orleans is in my Creative Writing class, wrote a poem that started me thinking about all this, then i re-remembered it a few minutes ago.

I guess i didnt realize the hugeness of the situation until my school is 5% larger because of it.

Whew, finialy friday. Seccond full week of school complete! We are starting to have tests(just finished physics test).
I am going to my grandparrents house this afternoon for the holiday. Should be a fun day of fishing and possibly some skiing?

I posted a story for critique on Better Fiction(http://makephpbb.com/phpbb/index.php?mforum=betterfiction)
I thought that it was going to be ripped to peices, but they actually liked it...I was spuprised(pleasently). I guess that means i have to find a market for it...heh.

Well, last bell rings in 5 mins, so I guess I should get ready to get out of here.

OOh yea, cross country...
I ran a 24:04 in the toughest race for the year. Next race should be much more fun, AND easier!

(okay im leaving this time)

Im out.

[ Listening to TobyMac Welcome to the Diverse City Currently: Listening to TobyMac Welcome to the Diverse City ]

Just over a week into school, and I am already exhausted. The "easy" workload i thought iw as going to have turned out to be a little bit more dificult...actually..just swiched around...haha
Physics and intro to stat(the two classes i epected to be hard) are easy...and government(one of the classes i thought was going to be easy)is hard...its okay though..i am keeping up this far.
I was told that if i dont have a 3.0gpa by the end of the semester, they are going to kick me out of beta club..so now i have motivation to make myself get my grades up..
i am not a very good student if you haven't noticed lately..I always say to myself "i could go do my homework...or i could watch TV." Sad
Cross country is getting better as i get into better shape. Its one of those things that is terribly painful, but the feeling of acomplishment is like that of when i can finaly move a story from the "working on" folder in my "short stories" folder on my desktop to the "ready for submisions" folder.

I have had a lot of time to think during my runs, which has made me realize that...in uhh..353 days(till i graduate) i am done with highschool..its kind of scarry thing when you suddenly realize that you are going to be moving away soon..im excited about it, but i have had some fun times with my dad, and family..

Well, i just remembered that i didnt quite finish my intro to stat homework, so i better go do that...haha

Im out.

[  Mood: Scared ]

My mood isnt scared..but i thought that was the coolest smilie on there.

I, again, am going to throw professionalism to the wind since I am not trying to get my blog published.

I, being the lazy boy that I am, procroastonated reading my last of three summer reading books until monday(I started school wednesday) and i spent the day reading about 300 pages. No bad for me...im suprised that i managed to not get distracted by my wandering mind...

This year's class load shouldnt be too hard.
Creative writing, band, and studyhall should all pad my GPA, and give me a little fun during the day...

I did not get any classes with my counterpart and best friend...he and I are...well...i will just say it...we are idiots. We are completely stupid around eachother..
I am kind of happy we got no classes together, cause now i can focus on all my classes....my worst classes last year happened to be the ones he was in...not that he is to blame for my stupidity...

The diference between 10th and 11th grade is amazing...its like in a cross country meet when you run past the two mile point...you get a seccond wind that pushes you through. I kind of have that...i dont dislike any of my teachers this year...which is a good thing...but we have some odd changes this year too...like how all the teachers sit with the students during lunch which kind of limits the stupidity john and I can have.. Rolling Eyes

I started doing cross country on wednesday(my seccond year) and despite the intense upper-body work i have done over the summer working for the church moving speakers and other heavy stuff...i am completely out of shape...
oh well, the first meet isnt for some time..

also,
my dad(bill) is totally awesome..

I'm out.

[ Eating lucky charms Currently: Eating lucky charms ]

So, I have been slightly...absent from my blog lately...and I appologize. I have had my reasons though!

Last weekend, I went on a church retreat thing with my church where me, my friend and her sister sat up the whole night playing cards...after three hours of sleep we spent the day marching through the woods, climbing up sutff then jumping off of it, and standing around for hours watching other people have fun..they said "you have already conquered your fear of not being in control. thats why we didnt let u climb the wall blindfolded." which still doesnt change the fact that it wasnt fun for me at all....but moving on...
so then we got back at 11pm on saturday night(3 hours before we were sposed to be at church for the setup at 2am)
so we decided to just get food and head over there and sleep in the car till time, but when we got there...they let us in..so i didnt get any sleep(that put me at 3 hours of sleep in 2 days) so then, we setup and stuff and went home and i slept from 4:30 till 7:15.(so now 6 hours of sleep in 2 days). so i get to church at 8 on sunday morning as usual...except i am completley exsausted from having no sleep over the previous two days...so about.uh..9:30 i started feeling really badly.. (ooh yea, i forgot to mention...for dinner on saturday night we had nastly lasanga with what tasted like old cheese in it...)so i went into the bathroom so that i didnt start getting sick in the main loby of the church...which was a good thing..cause within minutes...well i will spare u the details..
I am calling what I had sunday and monday morning food poisoning from the nasty cheese in the lasanga...but my dad says its from not sleeping...who knows...i just have to say that i am never eating strange looking lasanga again...haha

so the last few days i have been getting rehydrated from my...*experiance*.

I met with the principal from my school yesterday, he told me that if i wanted to take spanish 3, i would have to sign a contract saying that i would pass with a C, well i want to pass with a B, and i am not so sure that i could do that, so i decided to take creative writing instead...that should be an easy A and another reason for me to start writing activly again...

as i read through this novella, i notice that i took no heed to gramer, or capitalization...but then again...im not trying to get my thoughts published...
please bear with my uh..lazieness in this entry.

Very Happy
