Currently: Writing ]I used to have a blog once upon a time, but I was horrible at updating it. Hopefully I will keep up with this one better, especially since I plan to use it mostly for keeping track of my writing. It's nice to have a place to write down when I submit a story or how I feel about something I've just written.
I suppose first I should introduce myself to any fellow writers who may stumble upon this page. My name is Kristen and I'm a senior in high school. I spend much of my free time writing fantasy short stories and crossing my fingers in hopes that one (or more) of my stories will get published, preferably before I have to apply to college in November, although I'm not holding my breath. I have two flash fiction stories accepted on Flashshot already, but I'm still awaiting the day I get a real story published. Not that those aren't real, but I'd like someone to accept something of mine that is preferably longer than 100 words.
Right now, I have a story and two writing challenges submitted to Deep Magic, but I don't think the story will make it. I'd like to edit it up and send it to TSR if it's rejected, but I'm not sure it would fit their criterion (the main characters are thieves). I'd like to get it published somewhere, though. I didn't think it was too terrible.
I want to make a list for myself of stories that I want to be working on in the next few weeks.

Story for Clash of Steel: Book 3: Demon
Story about Kolga and sea monster
Another Shattermount story
Another story for Flashshot
Not a huge list, but I need to get working on it. Sor far I like my story for Justice Wears a Dress, but I still have a long way to go on it. Well, I suppose I'll go now and perhaps get back writing on that story. Or maybe I'll treat myself to a good book.
